Since you clicked onto this “About Me” page, I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself…
The short version is:
I spend my working hours helping small, local businesses pump up their profits by using online marketing. Much of my down time is pent chasing fish here in southwest Florida.

Here’s the long version…
I grew up in Minnesota, where I spent my weekends fishing at my folks’ lake cabin. I developed a taste for good equipment, and did a lot of the usual things to pay for it – shoveling snow, mowing lawns, etc.
In college, I studied engineering. I learned about creating systems, testing them and using the feedback to improve them. Balancing that, I worked my way through school selling light fixtures and accessories for a small business. With only a handful of employees, I got a close up education in how a small business runs.
After college, I took a job as a design engineer for a small manufacturer. My time working with customers and vendors in school paid off, as I quickly became the one our field sales reps called for information. I knew I’d made it when they started having their customers and prospects call me direct.
That job ended when the plant relocated from Nebraska to Juarez, Mexico and I was not invited to come along…
Since those days, I’ve earned my keep marketing and promoting a wide variety of products and services, for large corporations and small businesses alike. I found I enjoyed working with small businesses the most.
Now I work with small businesses in southwest Florida. I consider Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties as my home turf.
